Lizzie-6 months, Gabriel-Hyper!

Elizabeth will be 6 months tomorrow. Half a year has gone by?! Somebody needs to wake me up from this roller coaster ride. Lizzie Kate is eating some cereal and I am going to start sweet potato today. So far she really enjoys the cereal (I didn't think she did the first time, but the 2nd time she ate it all), and tries to feed herself. She grabs the spoon and shoves it right in her little gummy mouth. Hopefully she will start gaining a little weight or we will be on the way to formula. I hate saying that, I really really do, but I wouldn't say it if I weren't trying as hard as I possibly can. Her health is most important. Even if that means just supplementing with formula for a while.... I can't believe she is already 6 months and I'm already at this point.

Elizabeth will be getting teeth soon. She has little white dots on those gums, but no teeth just yet. She is also getting mobile! She rolls all around the floor to get where she wants to get! Gabriel was crawling at 7 months, so we will see if she follows. She doesn't seem AS strong as he was, but she is also smaller. Hopefully the solid food and rice will beef her up a bit, but I'm not too worried about the crawling thing. I have learned that a non mobile baby = an easy baby! haha!

I recently did a photo shoot of my two little loves. This picture is one of my favorites for sure:



Josh bought me a gallery wrap wall portrait and I could sit and stare at it all day. I love it, because I love them of course! Gabriel told me he wasn't wearing clothes in the picture. He said, "Gabriel's not wearing clothes. Shirt off!" He is talking up a storm now. It is amazing how his vocabulary is growing by leaps and bounds all of a sudden. He does revert back to baby talk now and again though. I guess he sees the attention Elizabeth gets when she talks/babbles ;0). He also rolls over just like Elizabeth. Hehe! We humor him a little. Don't want him to feel left out at all...

My kids, and my husband, are my world.... Happy 6 months little girl, and 2.5 years to my boy!

5 Months!!!

My talk a lot sweetie, or "sweet, sweet" as Gabriel coined her today (his nick name mind you), is doing really good at 5 months. Her official weight check is Monday, but I weighed her tonight and got 13.5 lbs.. This means she gained 1.5 lbs this past month which is perfect (average is 1-2lbs a month for the first 6 months). So my eating more seems to be working. I feel like a pig sometimes, but if it works I'll take it!

Elizabeth is babbling up a storm and grabs at everything. The other day I was eating Nutella and she decided to have some as well. She is also enjoying her big brother very much. She can't wait to play with him!
