Week 39!!!

I know I shouldn't be anxious, but I can't help it.. Every morning I wake up and think, "I wonder if Josiah will be here today." I can't wait to meet the little one God has made for us!!! God has already created for Josh and I two little ones with so much personality. Yesterday Josh and I were talking, and Josh called Josiah a "Wild One." I said, "I hope not, I need a calm one for once...." but then we both agreed that our wild ones are quite fun and entertaining. We don't know where we would be without them! I'm sure Josiah will fit right in with the wild bunch. Life will be fun!

I've had my ups and downs emotionally during this pregnancy, but I'm at a big UP right now. I can't wait to meet my little guy. I was checking out his ultrasound and noticed he has a cute button nose. I'll be able to kiss it soon, and that makes me really happy. Everything is ready, hospital bags are semi packed, and the car seat will be easy to throw in the car. We are pros by now, haha. I've also read up on all the safety regulations for our seats and the car. At this point we just need our little guy. That should happen within the next 9 days or so. I'm trying not to rush it because I don't know when I'll be pregnant again, but at the same time I'm done being pregnant this time. Josiah is growing out of room and often makes me really uncomfortable. He is a rib and side kicker! Again, he'll fit right in with my wild bunch!

In pregnancy news, I've gained by normal 25-26 pounds (was at 30 and holding until the tummy bug hit...yikes), I'm cramping and contracting but not regularly, am dilating and thinning, and am being kicked in the nerves to the point of my legs going numb. The end is so much fun! Here are two pics of me at 39 weeks (actually 38.5, but I've been bad about pics lately so I got it over with): With Gabriel and Elizabeth I didn't get to a 40 week blog. Let's hope the trend continues and the next blog will be about Josiah Samuel's birth =)!!!!!

Full Term with Josiah!

I'm 37 weeks which = full term! I'm trying not to get too excited about this considering it really doesn't mean anything. Full term only means I have three weeks left. On one hand that seems like forever, and on the other hand I'm running out of time. There is a definite tension of wanting him here now and wanting him to wait that three weeks. For now I'll just continue staying busy and trying to keep my mind off birth.

At the OB appointment today I was 60% effaced and 2 cm dilated. Josiah is flipping around like crazy and is completely sunny side up it seems. So, squats and hands and knees for me. The regimen of Echinacea, Garlic, and Vitamin C proved itself again as I was Group B Strep Negative. I'll begin taking everything again next week.

That's all I have for the 37 week check up, so here are the pics:
